The problem is that our flesh and our spirit are often at war. In Galatians 5:17, we read that "the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want." We want to do good, but our flesh gets in the way
