(originally titled The Hundred-Foot Journey ) is a 2014 comedy-drama directed by Lasse Hallström and produced by Steven Spielberg and Oprah Winfrey. The film follows the Kadam family as they relocate from India to a picturesque village in the south of France, where they open an Indian restaurant called "Maison Mumbai". This sparks a culinary rivalry with Madame Mallory, the owner of a nearby Michelin-starred French establishment.
