Compliance , written and directed by Craig Zobel , is a disturbing indie thriller based on a true story from a Kentucky McDonald's in 2004.

The film follows Sandra (played by Ann Dowd ), a fast-food manager who receives a call from "Officer Daniels," a man claiming to be a policeman. He accuses a young employee, Becky (Dreama Walker), of theft and manipulates Sandra into subjecting Becky to increasingly severe and humiliating "interrogations," including a strip search. compliance
