The story follows Caitlin Kramer, a woman struggling with a traumatic past who witnesses a fatal assault in a park along with several others. None of the witnesses intervene, instead choosing to record the event on their phones. Soon after, the witnesses begin dying one by one in mysterious accidents, leading Caitlin to believe they are being targeted by a vengeful supernatural force or a killer seeking "karmic justice".
