Unlike the horror-heavy single-player campaign, F.E.A.R. Combat was pure adrenaline. It featured 16-player matches with modes like Deathmatch , Capture the Flag , and Slow-Mo Team Deathmatch .
The defining feature was the slow-motion device. One team could activate it to move at normal speed while their enemies were slowed down, creating cinematic, gore-filled gunfights that felt like a John Woo movie.
While the official servers eventually went dark when GameSpy shut down in 2011, the story didn't end there: F.E.A.R. Combat - Rediscovered!
