Jack The Giant Slayer (2027)

While it might be a bit scary for very young children due to the "bestial" nature of the giants, it’s a fun, "popcorn" movie for families and fans of epic fantasy. It doesn't take itself too seriously, offering plenty of humor and old-fashioned heroism.

The film follows (played by Nicholas Hoult ), a young farmhand who accidentally reopens a gateway between the human world and a fearsome race of giants. When a princess named Isabelle ( Eleanor Tomlinson ) is carried away by the rapidly growing beanstalk, Jack joins the King's elite guards—led by the dashing Elmont ( Ewan McGregor ) — on a dangerous rescue mission to the sky-land of Gantua. Why It Stands Out

: Beyond Hoult and McGregor, the movie features a stellar lineup, including Stanley Tucci as the power-hungry villain Roderick, Ian McShane as the King, and Bill Nighy providing the voice and motion capture for the two-headed giant leader, General Fallon.
