The drive was caked in a decade of dust, found in the back of a drawer labeled "College – 2012." Elias plugged it in, the mechanical plates whining as they spun to life.

Elias chuckled, a nervous, dry sound. He was thirty; he didn't believe in creepypastas anymore. He double-clicked the icon. The screen went pitch black. Then, slowly, white text began to scroll, but it wasn't code. It was a log of his life—his real life.

As the progress bar crawled forward, a sense of unease settled in the room. When the folder finally popped open, it wasn’t full of photos or music. It contained a single executable file and a text document titled READ_ME_FIRST.txt .
