Born in 1678 in Scotland, Morrigan was adopted by Belial Aensland, the ruler of Makai. Because her innate power was so immense it threatened to consume her, Belial split her soul into three parts: one remained with her, one was kept by Belial, and the third was sealed in a pocket dimension (which later manifested as the character Lilith).
