Jess and Cece are passionately campaigning for Hillary Clinton. Schmidt, a staunch Republican who refuses to support Donald Trump (preferring to wait for Paul Ryan in 2020), makes a bet with them: if they can recruit five new voters, he will cast his vote for Clinton. [S6E2] Hubbedy Bubby

While Jess and Cece are out, Schmidt becomes fixated on the loft's "junk drawer," which is filled with disorganized mail and old batteries. His quest for order leads him to the local Clinton campaign office.
