The dragon realms were finally quiet, but for Spyro, peace always felt like the deep breath before a plunge. While basking in the meadows of Dragon’s Village, the sky suddenly bruised with a sickly pink hue. Massive, jagged erupted from the earth, draining the life from the grass and turning the local inhabitants into mindless, grouchy soldiers.

The trail led Spyro to , a high-tech fortress hidden beneath a volcano. There, Red unveiled his ultimate weapon: a massive, robotic version of himself. In a clash of steel and scales, Spyro used his agility to turn Red’s own machinery against him, shattering the final Dark Gem and forcing the traitorous Elder to flee into the shadows.

Spyro couldn't do it alone this time. With the help of the Professor’s new gadgets and a team of allies— the cheetah, Sgt. Byrd , Bentley the yeti, and even the greedy Blink the mole—Spyro set out to shatter the gems.
