Trannies With Couples Review

Research on transgender individuals in couples therapy is limited, but growing. A study by Witten and Eyupoglu (2012) found that transgender individuals in couples therapy often face unique challenges, including communication difficulties, intimacy issues, and conflicts related to their transition. Another study by Green (2015) found that couples with a transgender partner often experience a range of emotions, including anxiety, depression, and feelings of isolation.

The presence of transgender individuals in couples therapy is becoming increasingly common. As societal understanding and acceptance of transgender individuals grow, more and more transgender people are seeking therapy, including couples therapy. However, working with transgender individuals in couples therapy can present unique challenges for therapists. This paper aims to review the literature on transgender individuals in couples therapy and provide clinical considerations for therapists working with these couples.
